This irresistible dessert features layers of chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo cookies, and a fudge brownie batter. These Slutty Brownies are so quick & easy to make, and baked to gooey perfection that will satisfy any sweet tooth and leave you wanting more.
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.* I like to spray the pan first with cooking spray and then line it with parchment paper. The spray helps the paper adhere and stick to the pan easier.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Layer
In a mixing bowl stir together the dry chocolate chip cookie mix and miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips.
1 bag (17.5 oz) chocolate chip cookie mix, 1/4 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pour in the melted butter and egg, and mix thoroughly until a thick dough forms that feels slightly sticky.
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, 1 large egg
Press the cookie dough into the prepared pan in an even layer. Use lightly floured fingers to help spread it out without it being too sticky. You can also use a slightly wet rubber spatula to help spread it out as well.
Oreo Cookie Layer
Place the Double-Stuf Oreo cookies in an even layer, in even rows, over top the cookie dough layer. You may have to break some cookies in half to get them to fit.
1 package (14.3 oz) Double-Stuf Oreos
Brownie Layer
Pour the dry brownie mix into a large mixing bowl and stir in the miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Add in the eggs, melted butter, and milk. Stir to combine, making sure to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure that everything is mixed well.
2 large eggs, 4 tablespoons salted butter, 1/4 cup milk
Pour the brownie batter over top the Oreo cookie layer. Take your time to cover the entire cookie layer as you pour the brownie batter. Use a spatula to even out the brownie layer if needed so that it covers the cookie layer.
Bake
Put the brownies into the oven and cook for 45-50 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool, inside the pan at room temperature, for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use Parchment Paper : It's best to use parchment paper so you have something to pull the brownies out of the pan by. Parchment paper also helps the brownies bake more evenly and prevents the bottom from browning or burning. I like to spray the pan first with cooking spray and then put my parchment paper in. The spray helps the paper adhere and stick to the pan so it doesn't move around when you put the layers in.
Cool Down Time : It's so important to let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before cutting them. This helps the brownies set and makes it easier to cut. If you try to cut them without cooling them down, they will be gooey and hard to cut nicely into squares.
