Mix together the Rice Krispies and Cocoa Pebbles inside a large heat-safe mixing bowl.
In a large saucepan, over LOW heat, add the butter and 6 cups mini marshmallows. Cook and stir constantly until it's melted completely smooth.
Add 1½ cups chocolate chips and sea salt. Stir and cook for 2 minutes until everything is melted and combined.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over top the cereal in the mixing bowl. Gently stir together with a wooden spoon or spatula until completely combined.
Add the remaining 2 cups mini marshmallows and 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir together to distribute them throughout the treats.
Press the treats into the prepared pan. Allow the chocolate krispie treats to cool at room temperature, for about 1 hour, before cutting and eating!
